Test procedure interface introduction and multiple test procedure settings

Latest updated: Jul 16, 2024
Video recording version: 8.0.0.465, compatible with BTS 8.0 software.

Open BTS 8.0 software, log in, right-click the channel for testing, and select "Single start" to open the step editing interface.

On the left, click "Step Management," choose the project and test steps, create multiple test projects, and establish step files within the project. The middle interface allows step setting. After setting, save the steps for direct use in future tests. Multiple test projects save different types of step files for convenient direct use. Click "Barcode management" for batch testing of batteries, entering barcodes for battery management. Click "Backup settings" for backup data file directory, format, and method settings. Also, set DBC, SMBus, and external device parameters.

On the right, set main channel recording conditions and protection, auxiliary channel recording and protection, temperature chamber protection, delay protection, and other related parameter settings.

Below is a demonstration of step editing. Create a new step file, set test steps in the order of rest, CCCV Chg (constant current-constant voltage charge) , rest, CC DChg (constant current discharge), rest, and cycle. After a 5min rest, CCCV Chg with a voltage of 4.2V and current of 100mA, cut off at 10mA. After another 5min rest, CC DChg with a current of 100mA and cut off voltage of 2.7V, then rest for 5min. Set the cycle start step and number of cycles, in other options set time recording conditions to 10s, voltage lower limit protection to 2.5V, and upper limit protection to 4.5V. Apply recording conditions and protection to all steps, complete the cycle charge and discharge step setting, click save, save steps for next call, and click the bottom right "Start" to begin battery testing.

Adjust step order and set conditions in other options to perform various battery tests, such as capacity accumulation, rate test, GITT, CITT, etc. In addition to regular charge-discharge steps, pulse testing and simulation condition testing are also provided. Select steps for corresponding parameter settings.

In addition to the steps shown, provide constant power constant voltage charge and discharge, OCV, and other types of steps, which need to be added by setting. Click "Set", "System settings", "Step edit", check the required steps in "Step Type Settings", and click save to add.
