The anode and cathode materials are core key materials in advanced batteries. Currently, the energy density limits of batteries depend on the anode and cathode materials, which contribute to 60% to 70% of the cost of lithium-ion batteries. Therefore, accelerating the research and development of anode and cathode materials, as well as improving production processes, not only enhances the overall performance of batteries but also has the potential to significantly reduce the high cost challenges currently faced.
The 5th China (Changsha) Lithium Battery Anode and Cathode Materials Technology and Industrialization Seminar was successfully held in 2023, with over 1,500 attendees. The speeches and discussions at the conference received high praise from participants, greatly promoting technical exchanges among peers, fostering collaboration between academia and industry, and deepening integration along the upstream and downstream industrial chain. This conference effectively propelled theoretical research and industrial development in anode and cathode materials technology in China.
In light of this, to further advance research and technological progress in anode and cathode materials in our country, to timely understand the latest research achievements and development trends in these materials, to promote large-scale downstream applications, clarify key needs, strengthen industry exchanges, and encourage collaborative innovation among industry, academia, and research institutions, we are organizing the Special Conference on Advanced Battery Anode and Cathode Materials Technology in China 2023. The conference will be held in Hefei, Anhui province, from November 1st to 3rd, 2023. We sincerely invite experts, scholars, engineers, and technicians engaged in the anode and cathode materials industry chain from both domestic and international backgrounds to come together, exchange ideas, pool wisdom, and learn from each other, aiming to substantially promote the further development of anode materials in our country.
